*sigh*

I'm getting old.  I can walk into Best Buy and walk out without purchasing anything.  None of the computer games anymore are fun.  The new music stinks and stinks too loud.  Facebook, Twitter, MySpace are silly.  I'm a techie and I'm no longer into techie stuff.  I guess it's just a matter of time before I start gardening.  I signed up on Twitter to see if I liked it and first usage isn't promising.

It's also that time of year again.  Mowing season.  Unfortunately with our house still unsold, it falls to me to mow it or pay to have it mowed.  This proves to be somewhat tricky normally timing-wise.  It takes a couple of hours to mow and weed-eat and so I like to get it done on Saturday.  Friday it appears that I may be headed over to Monett.  So I will probably either get a hotel or run to Vinita to pick up mom and dad's air mattress for use in Diamond.  Saturday afternoon is my nephew Nicholas's birthday party in Sarcoxie, Missouri.  That is also Patrick's first soccer game (which I will miss).  Yet another weekend in Missouri.  Sunday is currently uncounted for so who knows where we will end up in church.

Patrick had his first soccer practice last night.  It was way too cold.  Next practice is Thursday (unless it rains, it's Friday in that case).  He had a lot of fun.  Nellie wanted to get out there also.  I took Miranda by the Urgent Care and took the children to Braums and Wal-Mart.  Patrick didn't have a soccer ball to play with at home, so we had to pick him up one.  He couldn't wait to show Mom!  Nellie may finally be getting over her sickness.  She has had a bad cough lately.  I think a bug is going around.
