family update

My sister, Emily called last night. I really enjoy talking to her. She calls every once in awhile. We were just talking about families. Her children are really growing up. When we went to church in Sarcoxie, we would go to their house almost every Sunday night. Her husband. Rod, is NASCAR crazy. I can take it or leave it. Miranda taught with Jamie McMurray's mom so we root for him but we don't consider ourselves real fans.

Last night was Patrick's soccer game and Molly Brewer went with us. She is the daughter of the IBS Principal/Superintendent(?). She was a big help with Nellie and Nellie really likes her. I think the children are going to start going to Children's Church in town on Wednesday nights. Molly goes to that as do most of the children in Miranda's class.

I've been kicking around an idea to create my own website. I don't know if I want to invest that kind of time into it though. Plus I don't know if I have the "eye for design". Technology isn't hard, it always boils down to design.

Everyone is off tomorrow except for me. Miranda is going to take Patrick to his Easter party at school. I'm not sure if Nellie is going to school or not. I'm not sure what Miranda will do the rest of the day. Probably clean house, read, etc... She has a hard time keeping away from boredom on her days off. She is one that has to be active and busy (i.e. high-maintenace). I wouldn't have it any other way though. I don't have problems with boredom on my days off. Always plenty of stuff to do however I have been in the mood to hit Wichita again. So watch out Aaron and Lindsay!

Patrick's birthday party is going to be at Big Cheese Pizza (assuming we can get the party room) here in Independence on the night of the 17th. He is wanting a cowboy hat for his birthday. Hard to believe that he will be 5 years old already. Nellie will be 3 in August.
