family stuff.

Patrick was playing with Nellie and he kept saying "I have to go to Missouri". He thinks that a lot of travel is now a normal thing that must be done. Unfortunately with our life lately, it is. Hopefully that will be changing.

We have found the coolest house and it's going to be tough to keep from buying it. They only want $152,000 for the house so I'm sure it will be gone in a year. We could make two house payments but it isn't very smart and we couldn't if I lose my job. Since I'm in Commercial Manufacturing then it's a big possibility. It's a war between the heart and the mind.

There is another house that looks like we want and has a detached garage with a living space above the garage which would make a great office. They are wanting $210,000 for it though. I'm guessing in a year it will still be around and cheaper.

The cheaper the house, the quicker I get Sally too so that's a positive with going cheaper. Actually since she's going to be yellow, I guess I can drop the Sally. I will have to come up with a new car name. I'm guessing the next-to-final name will be Endless Black Hole To Dump Money Into. The final name will be Piece Of Junk That Sits In The Garage Rusting Away. But it's my goal and I like reaching goals.

We would really like to move before another year is gone because I feel bad about taking a house away to be used for teachers that are more needy. However I don't feel bad enough to chance bankruptcy.

Funny story from church. Shawn Caldwell's son was sitting at the front because Shawn was leading the singing. He got one of Albert's harmonica's and started blowing away on it. You may or may not realize that harmonica's come in keys and of course, it wasn't the key we were in. It was hilarious. Luckily with his screeching, you couldn't hear my screeching as I was playing my steel guitar.

We have a great church and we really like it there. Everyone makes us feel right at home. Patrick enjoys his Sunday School. Albert teaches our Sunday School and he and Charlie Cunningham are very smart and I try to keep quiet but sometimes I make a (normally stupid) comment. At least I try!!! The "church band" consists of Miranda on piano, Clifford on guitar, Mr. Yoder (not sure of his first name) on bass and Albert on harmonica or acoustic guitar. They sound very good. Mr. Yoder and his wife speak German also as they grew up either Amish or Mennonite, so they are very cool. And Albert has 3 years of college in German too! I wish I could remember more of my German class in High School.

Well this is getting somewhat long so I'd better wrap this up.
