house.

We finally got to Diamond and moved almost all of the stuff out. We have too much stuff. There is still a swing set that needs to be taken apart and an exercise bike. Everything else is gone. So here's the story. They want to be in by the 15th. That gives us 2 weekends to get the last two items. This weekend and next weekend. We are scheduled to be in Tulsa on the next weekend so yup... you guessed it... Back to Diamond this weekend. Just shoot me now and get me out of my pain!!!

Stopped by Northpark Mall to do some shopping. All my jeans are too big now, so I had to buy some new ones. Nellie got some spring clothes and Patrick got some shirts.

On the way home we got a call from our realtor. Termites. Spending a bundle to take care of those. Oh the joys of home ownership. Hopefully we are almost through with this though.

I'm trying to talk Miranda into buying a sailboat for real now because it appears that we will be living in it if this rain doesn't stop. I never figured, I'd be able to sail from Independence to Vinita but with a few more days rain, I think I will be able to.

I have been cajoling Miranda to drop the cat idea but no luck. Looks like we will be calling Jon Wade to get a kitten or something to get mice. Dad thinks we need to call it Archibald if it's a male.

On a sad note... Vern Gosdin died. His steel player, Jim Vest, was one of my favorites. The sound man really hosed up the steel on this clip but this is one of my favorites of his.

Oh, the pain that song evoked. I certainly know the truth of it.

Wish I could remove my previous comment, as it may leave the wrong impression. I was focusing more on parts of the chorus-being lonely and not really knowing what it's like until you experience it!

I know what you were meaning. It is a very sad song. Honestly I like it because of the steel. Hope I didn't cause you too much grief.
