All's quiet on the Allen front. Last night was a quiet night in the house.

Big congrats to Miranda. She lost another .5 of a pound! She's looking very nice.

Labor day is rapidly coming upon us. This means another missed year at the International Steel Guitar Convention. This year we will be going to Ivan and Becky's (soon to be Hazelwood) wedding. I believe it is in Peace Valley, MO.

45 days until the Festivals de Acadiens et Créoles. Woohoo! I know Mom and Miranda are looking forward to the drive home. With it being the craft festival too, they may miss some of the music while they are in Lafayette. However I will be buying CD's. So that means that unless they ride on the roof, they will be listening to Cajun music all the way home from Lafayette. 11 hours of French words and accordion music. Afterwards, they will be committed to the asylum.
