last night.

Molly Brewer called last night and asked if Patrick and Nellie could go to Children's Service. Miranda and I went to the Adult Service. It was IBS (Independence Bible School) night.

I ordered the POD studio, so don't be surprised if some really terrible steel guitar playing shows up on here in a few weeks. Still trying to decide on some Christian songs for the CD. Bill hasn't given any suggestions yet. Here's my dilemma... I know a lot of Christian songs and there are a lot to choose from, but I need songs that sound good on the steel guitar and that won't take much "arranging". That last one is the kicker. I'm not a great musician. I'm arguably not even a good musician. So coming up with something unique on most (all?) of these songs will not happen.

Of course, I still have the words/music for my steel guitar opera "The Death of Faust (La Mort de Faust)" to come up with also. I need to get started on that. I think I may have trouble singing the tenor and the soprano roles. This may be a opera with baritone only. Maybe I can get started on that tonight.
