camp

Camp is almost at a close. I'm not sure how many people are ready for it to be over but I'm sure that it's more than would admit it. It's fun but a tough way to spend a week. Tonight is the last service.

I am in luck though. I saw Steve Acuff and he's trying to talk us into moving to Phoenix. He said that he'd pray about it. I told him that as long as he was at it, I need a new career as well (you know all my frustrations with programming). So I'll let God work that one out. I should have mentioned the Porsche 911 as well but probably best not too. I'm guessing that God doesn't put much stock in sports cars.

I've seen some Lobster/Crab fishing in Maine and that looks like an interesting career. I'm just going to make a quick guess that there isn't much Lobster or Crab fishing in Phoenix.

The children did their western stuff today at camp. Patrick loves his cowboy hat that he got. He also got the quiet seat which is fairly odd for Patrick. He got his dad's ADD (attention deficit disorder) (or is just being a normal boy).

Tomorrow I will update this blog fairly frequently with the progress of Dad's surgery. The surgery part will take about 4 hours and they are going to have to do some stuff beforehand. Also we will probably go down to see him every night as well. So that's more stuff to do this week. It's going to be crazy.
