Today.

Today was a lot of fun. We hit Woolaroc and it was nice. It was mostly museum so Patrick seemed a bit disappointed. We got to pet some animals but Patrick wouldn't. I can tell we are city people because as soon as we walked in, both children were holding their noses and complaining about the smell. Afterward we had a picnic lunch on the grounds. A friendly squirrel came up and we fed it a cookie. I'm sure we weren't supposed to but it was funny to see.

We headed home and on the way Nellie wanted to watch Mickey Mouse Saves Santa. Mickey Mouse has his clubhouse and he always says "Do you want to come into my clubhouse?". Nellie said "ummmm.... no....". It was funny.

On our way home, we were going through Caney and they have a Safari Zoological Park. It was better than a regular zoo. It was all big cats, monkeys, and bears and you could get close to them. Very close. They also had Grey Wolves and we got them to howl. There was also a "tour guide" that would take you around. I think she was basically there to make sure you didn't get eaten. I was like a little boy in there. Patrick and Nellie loved the animals except Patrick was a bit freaked out with the bear. We are going to have to make that a regular stop. It was a bit pricey ($10 for adults, $8 for children ages 2 and up) but well worth the money. Since this is becoming basically an advertisement, here's their website.

Mom and Dad brought up the truck and camper so thanks for that guys! Very appreciated and sorry we missed you.

The children are outside practicing casting with their rod and reels so I better go join them.
