Apparently Marseille is now the French national champion. They beat Bordeaux 3-1 in the Coupe de la Ligue. This is despite the fact that they are currently in 5th place in points in Ligue 1. Apparently the Coupe de la Ligue is a tournament and doesn't count on points. Very confusing.
Anyhoo... This is apparently my year for sports. Saints won the Super Bowl as well. Watch out baseball. Cardinals will win the World Series.
