My name is Bill Allen and I work for EFCO Corporation. I have degrees in Computer Information Science and Economics from MSSU. I married Miranda May Allen on July 22, 2000 and it was the best decision I ever made! We have 3 children. Paul Teemu Allen was born in 2003 and lived for 5 days. Patrick Wayne Allen was born 4/14/2004 and Nellie May Allen was born 8/18/2006.
My hobbies are playing pedal steel guitar, classical fencing, and languages of various types. I have had 2 years of schooling in Spanish, 1 year in German, and have independently studied French and Arabic. Not real fluent in any of them but it's fun. I also love reading about history.

Hey, NC, interesting posts! Have you ever used Rosetta Stone to learn any language? I have thought about it, but they're pretty expensive and didn't know if they'd be worth it (in the fact that I don't know that I would stick with it enough).
Hi Diane! Great to hear about the new addition to your family! The Rosetta Stone is the best software for language learning but in my experience learning any language is almost impossible without speaking with other people almost daily. I don't know anyone that speaks a foreign language so I never get very far. And sticking with it is VERY tough.
