154.2

I lost 2 more pounds.  Mostly due to missing last weeks weigh in as I had 2 weeks to lose weight.  I'm going to call it good at 153.0.  Miranda lost also.

Another funny Patrick story.  The other day, I asked him to bring me something and he saluted me.  Today, Miranda hollered that it was time to go to school and Patrick started saying, "Hut one, Hut two".

I want to complain a bit now (I don't think she knows me real well so this sort of a joke).  Diane Baber put her pictures of Grenada online and Miranda saw them.  Now she has decided that she wants to go to Grenada on vacation.  I don't particularly want to.
CRIME:  Street crime occurs in Grenada.  Tourists have been victims of armed robbery especially in isolated areas and thieves frequently steal credit cards, jewelry, U.S. passports and money.  Mugging, purse snatching and other robberies may occur in areas near hotels, beaches and restaurants, particularly after dark.  Visitors should exercise appropriate caution when walking after dark or when using the local bus system or taxis hired on the road.  It is advisable to hire taxis to and from restaurants.
And for a few other reasons (yes it isn't Grenada but it's close enough for me!) .  When it comes down to "Kill Whitey", I don't think I need to stick around to see how it's going to turn out.  I'll take my White Feather and run.  I can always use more pillow stuffings.  They are lovely pictures though and it looks very beautiful.

Congratulations on the weight loss!

Okay, gotta comment here. It was scary reading those articles! I went there feeling like I was going back home. I didn't know all that, so it didn't bother me.
There was once, at the Market, when the woman that we had known before, came up and spoke to us, then when she had turned away, this guy came up and was saying how he remembered seeing me, ?I forget the place, and I was disagreeing, and the woman turned back around and basically told him to get lost. He had even taken ahold of my arm, to keep me from leaving I guess, he had to have been standing there listening is all I can think of, and tried to take advantage of the situation-I'm really not sure what it was all about to this day. That was a little strange, but I don't think I was scared, or thought too much about it.
But we didn't stay out late at night and we were usually in a group of some sort. You just have to be careful there, like you do here. There's lots of crime here too. Just pray and trust the Lord for protection.
It is a lovely island and I think you would like it. I'm planning on going back in Aug. with Joan Fereira and another couple, and my family's on their way there right now!

By the way, I love your sense of humor and look forward to your posts. Glad that bout of depression didn't keep you down very long!
