technology.

Computer and TV's are merging and in a few years, I doubt if you will be able to tell them apart. When we get our own house, here's what I'm thinking about doing. I would like to buy a cheap computer to use as a media server. When you have young children around, you quickly learn that DVD's don't last that long. However if you rip the DVD's to the hard drive, you can watch the movie anytime. Plus if it's on a network, you can watch it anywhere in the house at any time.

I've been using my eeePC to connect to the Internet to watch TV shows. They are streamed over the Internet and connected to the TV and you watch it on the TV. You can watch shows from Hulu.com or for sports myp2p.eu.

Essentially the only difference between a TV and a computer anymore, is that a computer is more versatile. You can get 90% of the stuff that you get on TV but TV only has probably 1% of the stuff that you get on a computer.

I really didn't have anything to say, but I wanted to make this observation.
