Mom and Dad are off to Canton, TX tomorrow. No fair! I haven't been there for a couple of years. I'd like to go back soon but it won't be for awhile.
Manchester United lost today to Barcelona. So I'm sad. Or as sad as you can be about such things.
I happened to notice on facebook that today is Vicki Clifton's birthday. So a very happy birthday to her. I would ask how old, but I'll be nice.
I listened to Cajun music all the way over to Monett and all the way back. Miranda said that I better not burn myself out before we go to Lafayette. I'd better get used to it because we will be living there soon.
I saw a good "old" friend today and it was nice to see them and talk to them. I am not talking about old Vicki either! Although it would be nice to see her and Paul again. You'd think with as close as we live now, that we'd see them more often. But we don't.
My life has been full of oddities (imagine that!) but overall I have a great life with great friends and family. Speaking of family, Paul (my father-in-law) is finally going to have his back surgery soon. You might remember him in your prayers. I know he'll be happy to have that over. You might remember Jane too because she lacks the patience to deal with a hurt husband! She can barely deal with a silly son-in-law the way it is!
Patrick ate 4 pancakes for breakfast this morning. He likes pancakes.

you are toooo funny! You should know how old I am if you think about it...I was just a year behind Pebbles :) I'm sure she hates that name now.
I love it that you love good and different kinds of music!! I love a variety with quality! All types of jazz is my very favorite!
Paul worked for FEMA and stayed a month in the Big Easy after hurricane Katrina. I have a huge scrapbook about it. Have to show it to you when you guys come over.
We'll have to work that out. Paul's still not back from training yet and then he goes to night shift. But we need to get together.
Thanks for the birthday wishes! The actual date is tomorrow (28) unless I'm too old to remember correctly!! I did put down the wrong day on Darrell's school enrollment form for his birthday once. He was very irritated with me!~ wonder why?
