Dad ran his DNA testing through a company called dnatribes.com. I'm not linking them because they weren't impressive at all with timeliness and you shouldn't use them if you are interested.

Anyway... Flags were raised when he was in the hospital and someone mentioned that Allen was a Scottish name. So he decided to research further. On his results, the first tribe/city mentioned is Glasgow, Scotland.

To your normal person, Scotland doesn't matter much. But it was the Royal Scots Greys that played a big role in giving our beloved l'Empereur his last defeat at Waterloo.

Southern France did play a big role in his genealogy but it appears that Scotland is the biggest role.

So I am in the market for a kilt and bagpipes. I am not kidding either.
