So we went to church last night. Pastor Albert was gone to Illinois for some flight training or something. So Joe (David)
Davolt stood in for him. Afterwards Miranda and I both agreed that he was talking about us. He was preaching from Isaiah 30 from two verses:
- [15]... in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
- [18] And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
It was all about waiting. He kept saying... "wait". Then he said something like "It isn't complicated; it's difficult". Anyway... I think we took it slightly out of context but it's good advice for us at this time. We are having a difficult time waiting for our own house. I'm not the most patient guy in the world anyway. After a year and a half of waiting, I'm tired. Guess I'll wait some more.
Supposed to get more snow today/tonight. Ready to move to Lafayette again. We are supposed to get 4-9 inches currently. They changed it though. The last time I looked it was 6-10 inches. So it's getting better. However Lafayette has a high today of 69 with a low tonight of 58. Mon
coeur fait mal (My heart hurts).
